Harvey excited for future as new generation comes to fore Ben Harvey is excited to be among the next generation of rising stars in national hunt racing following the recent retirements of some big names from the sport. The 22-year-old has already tasted success at Cheltenham and Aintree this season and bids to end his season on a high at Punchestown this week. There has been something of a changing of the guard in the weigh room in recent years and Harvey commented:- “It's an exciting time to be riding and coming up through the ranks I'm very lucky to have ridden against some of those guys. “There is definitely going to be an opening there for someone and hopefully he'll be able to capitalise on it.”
