Chris Hayes will be busy in Dubai this winter as he teams up with local trainer Dhruba Selvaratnam for the upcoming campaign.

Kevin Prendergast's stable jockey, who wound up the 2015 Irish season with 47 winners, will also continue his association with Sole Power in Hong Kong.

Hayes' agent Dave Keena explained, "Chris flew out on Tuesday and will have his first rides for Dhruba Selvaratnam on Friday.

"He's really looking forward to the winter out there especially the Carnival in the spring. He will also ride Sole Power in the Hong Kong Sprint, and will be back in Ireland for the new turf season."

The Limerick native successfully partnered Sole Power in the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Irish Champion Weekend last month.

Keena also had news of another one of his riders adding, "Colm O'Donoghue is travelling over to Melbourne and will then move on to India where he will ride over the winter."
