Gordon Lord Byron and Maarek, third and fifth respectively in the Duke of York Stakes, could renew rivalries in Saturday's Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh.

The pair, trained by Tom Hogan and David Nagle respectively, were separated by just over a length and a quarter on the Knavesmire while fellow entry, the Kevin Ryan-trained Tiddliwinks, finished last.

A total of 23 have been entered for the six-furlong race with David Marnane boasting a clutch of contenders, including ex-South African recruit Antious, who could make his Irish bow.

Angel's Pursuit, Dandy Boy and Nocturnal Affair are also in the field while Aidan O'Brien is similarly mob-handed with five possibles headed by French 2000 Guineas fourth Gale Force Ten.

Reply, Forester, Parliament Square and Infanta Branca comprise the Ballydoyle team, with Jimmy Styles a possible for Clive Cox and David Barron entering Hitchens.

Tommy Stack's Cape Of Approval, Katla and Leitir Mor are other possibles.
