Hughes aiming for Launch Time in new Flat campaign Cian Hughes has started this year with a couple of winners in Dundalk and identified Launch Time as an early-season type when the new Flat campaign gets under way next month. Thompson Gunner and Without Love both delivered on the Polytrack in January and the former could also see action on the turf. Hughes said: "Thompson Gunner could switch to the turf when it starts and Launch Time will probably be out early in the season. He's a maiden, but he was placed three times last year. I think he's capable of getting a win." Launch Time was third in a couple of extended 10-furlong handicaps at Navan towards the end of last season in addition to finishing fourth in a Curragh handicap in October.
