Hughes hopeful with Casper Dessie Hughes is expecting a decent show from Shirley Casper at Aintree this afternoon in the two and a half miles totepool Manifesto Novices' Chase. The ten-year-old opened her account over fences at Naas last month but faces a massive step up against six rivals including Medermit and Wishfull Thinking in the Grade 2 contest. Hughes said: "I think she`ll run a big race. It`s the first time this year she`s had her ground. The ratings don`t look great for her but I don`t mind that. She jumps well, she`ll like the ground and she gets the 7lb mares` allowance."
