Hurricane possible for Punchestown Exciting novice hurdler Hurricane Fly could make a return to action at next month's Punchestown Festival. Willie Mullins' five-year-old was forced to miss the Cheltenham Festival after failing to recover from a splint problem - and was only a few days ago reportedly making slow progress. But after a recent visit to the vets, the trainer is now hoping Punchestown could be back on the agenda. "He's very well, he went up to the vets yesterday and they gave him the best report that we have had so far," Mullins told At The Races. "I was not pleased with him when I left to go to Cheltenham last Sunday morning but the vets were very pleased with him yesterday (Monday). "It gives us a chance now to get back to Punchestown." Hurricane Fly, twice a Grade One winner this term, had his form boosted at the Cheltenham Festival by the exploits of Supreme Novices' Hurdle hero Go Native and David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle scorer Quevega.
