In-form O'Sullivan has plenty of National Hunt options Ross O'Sullivan saddled a double on the final day of the Irish Flat season at the Curragh yesterday and the dual-purpose trainer gave an update on some of his National Hunt horses to Alan Magee as that campaign gets into full swing. Switch From Diesel was the second leg of his double in the concluding 1m4f maiden at Headquarters, and she also has a Listed mares' bumper at Fairyhouse in the book in addition to placed efforts in a Grade 1 and a Grade 2 in that sphere. O'Sullivan said: “Switch From Diesel is the standout from last season, and she’ll go hurdling. “She has schooled well and was just ready to start back at the Curragh as she was 15 kilos heavier than last season." Talk In The Park, who was last seen finishing fourth in the Grade 3 Munster National at Limerick, is set to have a Christmas outing. The trainer added: “Talk In The Park ran very well in the Munster National, but didn’t maybe get home and probably wants 2m5f. "There might be a big handicap chase in him, and he could be a horse for Leopardstown at Christmas." O'Sullivan also added: “Strong Link will get a winter break because he’s been busy all summer. “Donnie Devito ran well in Galway (third in beginners' chase) and has a day in him as well. “Bythesametoken picked up a little knock after winning a good handicap at Listowel. He’ll be back for Christmas, and it might suit him as he likes space between his runs. “Slurricane had a nice win on the Flat (in Galway) the other day and hopefully there will be a good handicap in him. He loves soft ground.”
