Injured Jockey Fundraiser at Cork dogs This Saturday's greyhound racing meet at Curraheen Park in Cork will be a fundraiser for the Injured Jockey Fund, with the feature race being the Injured Jockey Fund A2 575 Race, with €500 and a trophy for the winner. Racing begins at 7.55. Meanwhile the Sporting Press this week reports that the fundraiser for injured jockey J T McNamara and sportsman Johnny Walsh was magnificently supported at Limerick greyhound track last Friday. A picture of Liam Burke, Michael Phillips, Andrew McNamara junior and Davy Russell taking part in the novelty space-hoppers race at the Limerick Hunt benefit night features on page 43 of the Sporting Press.
