The Matty Tynan trained Coto makes her second trip to Britain today to contest a five furlong handicap on the fibresand at Southwell.

Last year's shock Naas maiden winner has her sights lowered considerably compared to her previous trip abroad when she contested the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Today the filly will have her sixteen start over the minimum trip and so far her efforts have only yielded that sole juvenile victory.

Coto races off the lowly mark of 63 today (rated 83 as recently as June) but there is certainly cause for optimism that she will at the very least be competitive.

She showed up well in a decent sprint at Dundalk last month when hitting the front briefly at the furlong pole and the addition of a first-time tongue strap this afternoon can only aid her chance.
