IRISH PULL CLEAR DOWN UNDER The Irish jump jockeys team opened up a considerable advantage over their Australian counterparts as the Jump Challenge Series continued at Warrnambool on Monday. As the match heads for Sandown on Wednesday, the visiting Irish team leads by 77 points to 43.Although local jockeys Ciaron Maher and Bill Williams rode the winners of both the hurdle and the steeple at Warrnambool, Indigo Prince, successful in the chase, was not in the competition.Jimmy Mansell scored full points for Ireland in finishing second to Indigo Prince on Queenlike and Danny Howard played his part once again when taking second place on Ruling Lord.Howard finished runner-up in the hurdle on Jet Express and he has every chance of going one better at Sandown as he has drawn likely favourite Just A Look in the Limerick Lane Stud Hurdle.
