IRISH RACING YEARBOOK 2003 ON SALE

The Irish Racing Yearbook 2003 was launched at Gowran Park racecourse today, featuring both a comprehensive review of the racing year and a look forward to the season ahead, writes Alan Magee.

Among the contributors to the 156 page publication are Eamon Dunphy, who pays tribute to Rock Of Gibraltar and his owner Sir Alex Ferguson, David Walsh, Paul Haigh, Angus Loughran and Tony O`Hehir.

Turform`s Alan Hewison and Racing Post journalist Alan Sweetman pin-point horses to follow, while leading trainers including Aidan O`Brien, Dermot Weld, Jonjo O`Neill and Noel Meade reveal their hopes for the upcoming season.

The Yearbook is edited by Gearoid Moynihan, and available at 12.50 euro (8 sterling) in all leading newsagents and bookshops.
