James Jenkins sent Iltone across the Irish Sea from Co Antrim to land a gamble in the concluding bumper at Sedgefield.

The four-year-old gelding was available at 50/1 this morning and was backed down to 12/1 on the off.

He made headway to track the leaders over three furlongs out and got on terms inside the final furlong. He kept on best to lead close home and won by three parts of a length under in-form claimer Lilly Pinchin.

Iltone fell in his sole point-to-point when with Graham McKeever.
