Jockeys on the sidelines

Emmet Mullins and Michael Doran will both be on the sidelines for at least a month following falls at yesterday's meeting in Listowel.

Mullins broke a collarbone when Decoy Daddy fell at the first in the handicap chase, while Doran sustained a shoulder injury when Feast Or Famine crashed out at the third last in the handicap hurdle won by Elyaadi.

There is better news of Shay Barry who is recovering from a broken pelvis at Killarney last month.

Turf Club doctor Adrian McGoldrick reports: "Shay returned home after a spell in the Whitfield Clinic in Waterford yesterday, and its a positive step on his road to recovery."
