Jog For Jockeys heating up There are just 18 days left until the inaugural running of Jog For Jockeys begins with the opening race at Sligo tomorrow, the jogforjockeys.ie Maiden Hurdle, hoping to raise awareness of the event. The 5km jog is in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund, set up to support jockeys in the event of injury, and will take place across five racecourses (Leopardstown, Naas, Down Royal, Galway and Cork) in Ireland on Sunday 21st August 2011.
