Keep It Cool scores for O'Donnell/Cullen

The concluding race on day two of the Killarney Festival today, the Paul Fitzgerald & Son Builders Suppliers Handicap, went to the Pat O'Donnell trained Keep It Cool , whose jockey John Cullen was another to make the trip south from Downpatrick by helicopter.

The son of Spinning World eventually held the renewed challenge of front-running Queen Of Cool , by half a length.

Afterwards O'Donnell reported "Keep It Cool had been running well in the Flat and we thought he'd have a big chance if reproducing that form. The owner's son Richard O'Brien does a lot of work on him and we'll aim him at a race at Galway next."
