Khal on course for Leopardstown Grade 1 Blazing Khal is on course for the Dublin Racing festival at Leopardstown next month. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding is unbeaten in three starts over hurdles and was last seen running out a cosy winner in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham last month. He currently heads the ante-post market for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Grade 1 Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Novice Hurdle is next on his agenda. “He's very good. We gave him a wee break after the last day and he's just back in full training now again,” said Byrnes. “The plan is to go to Leopardstown on February 5th for the two-mile-six hurdle. That's the plan but it will be ground dependent, as long as the ground is good and safe.”
