Galway Hurdle third The Game Changer could line-up at Killarney next week.

The Charlie Swan-trained five-year-old ran a career-best to be beaten just three and a half lengths behind winner Thomas Edison and is in the running for another handicap, although conditions races will also come into the equation.

And Swan is hopeful Killarney will suit his Gigginstown House Stud-owned gelding.

He said: "The Game Changer has come out of the Galway Hurdle very well, extremely well in fact.

"He might go for the handicap hurdle in Killarney. He is probably better on flatter tracks like Killarney. We'll also look at conditions races for him.

"I don't think weight is an issue for him as he's a bit of a lad when he gets to the front."

Recent Roscommon winner Close One might join the Swan team for the four-day Killarney meeting.

Swan added: "Of my other horses Close One might also go to Killarney while Foot Soldier and Eric The Grey are small possibilities."
