Kinane Third In Japan

Mick Kinane finished third in the World Super Jockey Series which was held at Hanshin racecourse in Japan over the weekend.

The four-leg series run over Saturday and Sunday was won by home rider Yasunari Iwata, with fellow Japanese jockey Norihiro Yokoyama runner-up.

Kieren Fallon also took part in the competition, finishing joint ninth along with French representative Stephane Pasquier in the 14-rider event.
