Lambe and O'Connell hearing goes ahead James Lambe and Eddie O'Connell have failed in their attempt to get an injunction to prevent a disciplinary hearing at the Irish Turf Club taking place today. County Armagh trainer Lambe and jockey O'Connell went to the High Court in Dublin, but Judge White refused the injunction. The hearing centres on alleged irregular betting patterns surrounding the running of Yachvili in a beginners' chase at Downpatrick in September 2011. "The injunction has been refused and the case goes ahead this morning at the Turf Club as planned," said Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone.
