Lawlor aces return to Dundalk Noel Lawlor has made hay in recent weeks at Dundalk with Kimbay and Corker Hill, and both horses are again in action on the Polytrack on Friday evening. Rory Cleary has struck up a great association with the speedy Kimbay, and the daughter of Windsor Knot is on a four-timer in the six-furlong Dundalk - Light Up Your Night Handicap. The four-year-old has won twice here over the minimum trip in recent months but showed that she can get this extra furlong when successful in between at the Listowel Festival. Cleary has produced her with a trademark late run to great effect and with just a 3lb rise for her latest success, looks sure to go well again, despite a troublesome high draw. Corker Hill has also been a model of consistency for Kildare-based Lawlor and gained a deserved win over a mile here in September. On that occasion she proved over three lengths too good for Havelock Ellis, and the Johnny Levins-trained gelding has cemented the form by scoring twice since at this venue. Corker Hill doesn't know how to run a bad race and despite edging up in the ratings, should again give supporters a good run for their money in the seven-furlong Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Rated Race. Another interesting feature of this eight-race card is the presence of a number of runners from Tony Carroll's Worcester yard. Pat Smullen takes the mount on Serenity Spa, successful in the mud at Warwick back in August, against Kimbay in the six-furlong handicap, while Joseph O'Brien is aboard his other two runners. Pour La Victoire lines up against Corker Hill but perhaps his best chance comes with Innoko in division one of the mile-and-a-half Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap. The four-year-old grey gelding has been campaigned over a variety of trips and following recent wins at Wolverhampton and Kempton, was unlucky not to complete a hat-trick at Lingfield last Saturday when denied a clear run in the straight.
