Lee set for spell on the sideline Billy Lee is expected to remain in hospital for a couple of days after suffering lung and rib injuries in a fall at Dundalk yesterday afternoon. Lee's mount, Winnie Minnie, suffered a fatal fall in the final furlong of division one of the bookings at dundalkstadium.com Handicap (when in second), bringing down two other runners, Peccatorum and Caracal, in the process. While the riders of those two, Fran Berry and Emmet McNamara, escaped uninjured, Lee is reported to have suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs. His agent Kevin O'Ryan said: "I've not actually spoke to Billy yet, but I know he has punctured his lung and broken a couple of ribs. "He's in the Mater Hospital in Dublin and I'd imagine he will stay there a few days yet so they can keep an eye on him. "All the main things are OK and I think he would settle for his injuries as it was a very bad fall. "I don't really know how long he will be out yet. We will just have to see how we go."
