Lennon's Cheltenham Ticket To Ride Connections of high-class novice chaser Lennon confirmed he will take his chance in the Irish Independent Arkle at Cheltenham ? despite reservations about the undulating track.Howard Johnson's seven-year-old created a huge impression in his three starts over fences this season and finds himself at the forefront of the betting for the two-mile novice championship. But with two victories at Aintree to his name already this season, owner Graham Wylie believes he may be seen to better effect on flatter tracks rather than undulating ones like Cheltenham.'Lennon has been impressive all season and he is still on course for the Arkle at the Festival,' said Wylie.'Whether he will take to the undulating track or not we are not sure. Howard said to me that he thinks he is more of an Aintree horse, and he has already won twice there this year.'He will take his chance though and we will see how he gets on. He is electric over his fences and with novice chasers, that is important.'He is the first two-mile chaser that we have had that looks like he could go to the top so it is exciting. We are still trying to build our chasing team up.'(C) PA Sport
