Today's meeting at Leopardstown goes ahead as scheduled following an early morning inspection.

Officials called a precautionary check of the south Co. Dublin track due to the threat of frost but day two of the Dublin Racing Festival got the go ahead.

The eight-race card features four Grade 1 events highlighted by the Unibet Irish Gold Cup where last year's winner Edwulf bids to record another surprise against nine rivals.

The Grade 1 action kicks off with the Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle, while the Chanelle Pharma Novice Hurdle and the Flogas Novice Chase are also up for decision.

The going is currently good to yielding (good in places) on the hurdle and bumper track, while the chase course is good.

The weather forecast is to get milder with a risk of showers this morning, clearing this afternoon. The action gets underway at 12.40pm.
