Leopardstown remains soft

Following 2mm of rain the ground at Leopardstown remains soft for today's Irish Champion Stakes meeting.

It is set to remain dry and sunny today with temperatures around 17 degrees.

Action kicks off at 1.30pm with the feature contest going to post at 3.45pm.

Following a further 7mm of rain since declarations the ground has eased at the Curragh ahead of the Irish St Leger card tomorrow.

It is now yielding to soft on the straight track and yielding, good to yielding in places on the round course.

The weather is set to be dry today with rain coming in from mid morning tomorrow, turning heavy at times.
