Lingfield target for Shalaman Shalaman is on course to make the trip to Lingfield on Good Friday. The six-year-old landed one of the two Fast-Track Qualifiers at Dundalk earlier this month, scoring by neck from former Dewhurst Stakes winner Parish Hall in an extended 10-furlong Polytrack contest. In the process he earned himself a free entry for the richest race on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, the £200,000 Coral Easter Classic over 10 furlongs. The Oratorio gelding is trained by County Meath-based Matthew Smith, who said : "All being well, it is the plan to go to Lingfield Park on Good Friday with Shalaman. "I was delighted with his win at Dundalk last time. Although he is now a six-year-old, he improved big time to win that race and he appears to have improved again at home since then. He would want to, though, as it is sure to be very competitive at Lingfield. "I think that if he can turn up in the same sort of form as he showed last time, I would be confident of a good run."
