Lordan sweet on Legatissimo Wayne Lordan is looking forward to continuing his association with Legatissimo at Leopardstown after he steered the David Wachman-trained filly to victory in the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Lordan came in for the winning ride for the injured Ryan Moore, who had been in the saddle in her previous three starts this term including when successful in the Qipco 1000 Guineas. Moore is still sidelined and Lordan had ridden her in all her five races last term. Lordan feels the Coolmore Fastnet Rock Matron Stakes is the likely race for Legatissmo, although she also holds an entry in the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes on the same card. "Legatissimo is a filly I'm looking forward to. She won quite well in Glorious Goodwood," said the jockey. "Wherever she turns up with the way she's been running and the fillies that have been finishing behind her and then taking on the colts, the fillies look very strong, so wherever she turns up she will be a strong candidate. "The most important thing will be that she's healthy and well."
