Philip Rothwell's Prince Palace (14/1) made virtually all in Galway's Brasserie On The Corner Handicap Chase over two and a quarter miles and passed the post seven and half lengths clear of Lanzhou , but the eight-year-old was subsequently disqualified as jockey Ross Sugrue weighed in 1.2lb light.

Lanzhou, successful over hurdles at his local track of Tramore earlier in the month, was duly promoted to first place on what was his chase debut.

The Jeu St Eloi gelding is trained by John Flavin for the Baragan Partnership and John Shinnick was on board the 16/1 chance.
