Lupini & Lordan double up at Dundalk After Pass Me If You Can's win in the opener, Natalia Lupini and Wayne Lordan doubled up at Dundalk when bargain-buy Thaloria took the 0-60 handicap over seven furlongs. Friendless in the market at 40/1 for her handicap debut, the daughter of Zoustar soon tracked the leaders and slotted into second place after a couple of furlongs. Lordan drove her past the front-running Desert Of The Sea over a furlong out and she kept on well to defeat that rival by one and three-quarter lengths. Trainer Natalia Lupini, who also owns the winner for which she paid only 1,000 gns in September, said: "Wayne is always quite good when we have a bad draw, we are always quite confident that he can get out of trouble anyway. "She looks like she is improving. We only got her in the autumn from an online sale. She only had two runs in England and then one for us as well. She was maybe still a little bit weak, she's a big filly and we think she is now probably starting to develop. "She found her level today and hopefully she improves. "Wayne was saying she was lovely and relaxed. They did a great job riding her out and they got her to relax at home as well as she could be a bit keen. Lovely and relaxed today. "Wayne said she could go for a mile as well." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
