Eddie Lynam could be double-handed in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday week, depending on ground conditions.

Ante-post favourite Slade Power is on course to take his chance in the six-furlong Group One and he might be accompanied by Viztoria if the going is on the soft side.

"Slade Power runs in the Jubilee and Wayne Lordan rides. He's a very good horse and is not ground-dependent, so there are no worries on that score for him," said the trainer.

Slade Power has gone from strength to strength since finishing seventh to Lethal Force in the Ascot showpiece 12 months ago.

He ended the last campaign with victory in the Group Two Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes over the course and distance in October and showed his well-being when landing the Greenlands Stakes from Maarek at the Curragh last month.

Viztoria, who was beaten four and a quarter lengths in fourth place that day on her first run of the season, would only take her chance if there was enough cut in the ground.

"She's in the Jubilee, but would need soft in the going description to run. It's all down to the weather where she runs," said Lynam.
