Lyons taking time with Harmonic Ger Lyons is in no rush to make any fancy plans for Harmonic Note following her most encouraging debut at the Curragh on Sunday. Sent off at 25-1 for what looked a typically warm maiden at headquarters, the youngster outran her price to finish a close second behind the more experienced joint-favourite Starbright. The winner is bound for the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes on her next appearance, but Lyons is keeping things low-key with his own filly. "She ran as well as we expected her to and she's just got tired in the last furlong because of the ground," said Lyons. "Ideally we would have preferred to run her on better ground first time out, but there's nothing we can do about the weather and to be fair, she got through it as well as anything else in the race. "I think she'll make a nice three-year-old and we'll keep things simple with her for now and try to win a maiden next time. "We think she's better than a maiden, how good we'll find out, but we'll go and win a maiden and take things from there. "Like all of ours, she should improve from the experience of that first run."
