Pat Magee is to return his promising sprinter Rosie Frith to training this week, with the Cavan-based trainer hoping to start the three-year-old off at Listed level.

A Cork maiden winner in July, the daughter of Cotai Glory finished last year with a Dundalk handicap success in October, which increased her official rating from 80 to 94.

Magee reports "she is coming back in this week having been home on a break. We are going to see how she is and we'll sit down then to make a plan. We’ll start her off at the minimum trip and see where we end up.

"The handicapper has put her up since she won and she has gone up to 94 so we will probably be looking at a Listed race first and just see where we end up. Her rating is high but it is nice to have a horse rated 94 in the yard. It is exciting times."
