Magnier sets the early pace at Tatts

John Magnier set the early pace on day 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale when seeing off a host of rivals to buy a filly by Galileo out of Alluring Park for 1.2million guineas.

She is a third foal of the dam, all her previous progeny having won, while the second dam, Park Express, is the dam of New Approach.

Earlier Luke Livingston paid 330,000 guineas for a Danehill Dancer filly on behalf of Olivia Hoare.

Robert Ogden paid 375,000 for a bay colt by Dansili out of All My Loving, while Ross Doyle saw off John Ferguson when he went to 350,000 for an Invincible Spirit filly out of Zibilene.
