Maiden Irish raid by Carroll Tony Carroll's family is from Buttevant, County Cork but Caspian Prince (6.15, Dundalk Stadium Racecourse Of The Year Handicap), Ocean Legend (7.15, the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap) and Waving (9.15, the Jack's Big Night Handicap) are his first runners in Ireland. All three will be partnered by Joseph O'Brien. Carroll said: "These are our first venture over and Ocean Legend doesn't run at Kempton tonight (the 7.30). "Waving just gets in the bracket – this is his last time in a sixty five – he's done very well and he seems to be in great form. "Caspian Prince is a very nice horse. He got trapped a bit wide the other day in a sprint and really that took his chance away from him. He's a seriously nice horse. "I'm not that familiar with the Irish form but he has a decent draw (stall four) and he's a horse that goes forward in a race. "I looked at two races because he was in at Lingfield and in here. There was no question where he'd have to go. "They're all there with chances. I'd be hoping one of them would win and the other two would run well if not better. "We've come over for the prize-money and for the opportunities that these races present. "It was very difficult to place this Caspian Prince. If you looked at the race he was in at Lingfield on Saturday and then looked at the Dundalk race it seemed here was easier so that made up our minds for us. "There wasn't a sixty five available for Waving so we were tempted to go that route when he was in such good form. I know he has plenty of weight but you'd hope he'd be the best horse in the race."
