Mary Just denied in Ffos Las opener Daniel Mark Loughnane's Just For Mary was only beaten a neck into second in the opener, the Sabrina Owen Handicap, at Ffos Las this evening. The 7yo son of Groom Dancer was bidding to follow up on his course and distance victory last month, but broke slowly from the stalls and despite picking up well under pressure, the line came at the wrong time as he went down by just an neck to Gooseberry Bush at 9/2. Just For Mary under Andrea Atzeni, was backed into 7/2 favourite at the off from his morning price of 4/1. Backed from his morning price of 10/1 into 9/2, the other Irish raider, Liam McAteer's See You Smile, finished a disappointing ninth of nine under Martin Harley. Donal Murphy
