McCoy brings up century at Ludlow

Tony McCoy brought up yet another century of winners in a season with a double at Ludlow this afternoon.

Despite the campaign still being in its infancy, the 15-times champion jockey is well over 20 winners clear of his nearest pursuer in the jockeys' table, who is predictably rival Richard Johnson.

McCoy recorded winner number 99 on the Gordon Elliott-trained Al Dafa (11/8), who rewarded favourite-backers in the opening Stourport High School 'Racing To School' Juvenile Hurdle.

McCoy was at his brilliant best later as he managed to get Michael Chapman's Skye But N Ben (11/2) to hold on by just a neck in the Ludlow Racecourse Supports Racing Welfare Handicap Hurdle.
