Noel Meade is looking forward to stepping Caught U Looking up into stakes company after her impressive victory at Leopardstown in July.

The Harzand filly was a five length winner over Stromberg at the Dublin track and that form looks strong now with the runner-up a wide margin winner twice since.

Having missed some time since that victory, on her second outing, Meade is keen to see her tackle a group or listed contest in the next few weeks.

“We had planned to run in a Group 3 at the Curragh but she got a cough and a dirty nose so we had to leave her off,” said the Navan handler.

“I might enter her in the Listed race on Saturday in Leopardstown (Ingabelle Stakes) but it still might be a bit soon.

“If she didn’t go there she would have the choice of the Silken Glider or the Park Stakes, both races for fillies at the Curragh.

“We are hoping to run her in a stakes race next but we have to have her right.

“She is also eligible for the race in Naas (Irish EBF Auction Series Final) at the end of the season.

“She looked very good at Leopardstown and you would imagine she should get better with time the way she is bred by Harzand.”
