Meade happy with star performers Noel Meade and his staff are celebrating a fine end to 2009 after landing three Grade Ones over the festive period. Go Native set himself up for a crack at a £1million bonus courtesy of wbx.com by winning the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton, Pandorama maintained his unbeaten record over fences in the Knight Frank Novice Chase and Hollo Ladies sprang a 25-1 surprise in the Future Champions Novice Hurdle. "Go Native is great, he came out of the race fine, as did Pandorama and Hollo Ladies," said Meade. "Pandorama was fantastic, he's very tough and he probably beat a very good horse (Weapon's Amnesty) as well. It was a good performance. "He's light enough after the run so I'm going to let him down now for the best part of a month and let him trot about and enjoy it for a month before building him back up for Cheltenham. "It was proper yielding ground - good to soft, you'd call it in England - but that's a quick as he'd want it so we'll see how he goes from there. "Maybe we knew a little more than everyone else about Hollo Ladies. He probably wasn't ready the first day he ran for us, he needed it. "He won the second day, though, and he improved a good deal from his first run and was entitled to improve again. "We haven't had him long and he's improving as he's going along. "He stays well and the dam was a decent Flat handicapper over a mile and six furlongs, even though he's by Captain Rio." Meade added that the Deloitte Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on February 7th would be Hollo Ladies' likely next target.
