Midday team watching the weather

Midday's team are keeping a close eye on the weather ahead of Sunday's Darley Irish Oaks - although the filly is virtually certain to be supplemented for the Classic on Tuesday morning.

A rematch with Sariska, her narrow conqueror in the Investec Oaks at Epsom, is on the cards at the Curragh as trainer Henry Cecil looks to lift the prize for the first time since Ramruma struck 10 years ago.

Owner Khalid Abdullah will have to pay 50,000 euros to add her to the field, and his racing manager, Teddy Grimthorpe, said: "The intention is to supplement on Tuesday, we are just mindful of the forecast in terms of the amount of rain.

"She has done very well since the Oaks and has been working nicely."
