Monet's Pleases Richards Monet's Garden continued his build-up for a crack at the King George VI chase at Kempton with a spin in the gathering gloom after racing at Ayr on Wednesday.Nicky Richards' grey galloped with his stable companion Rayshan and two unknowns from another yard who tagged along behind. He was not asked to do anything serious by Tony Dobbin and, having watched him ease past the post four lengths or so in front, Richards said: 'I am not sure what people were expecting, there was never any intention for him to come home half a furlong clear!'He just went a steady mile and five furlongs, we did not want to do anything serious and Tony just let him spin down the home straight.'All we wanted to do was to get him a day at the races and have a walk around the parade ring and get his old heart going.'Everything went grand, that is just the start of his preparation and we may have a look at taking him somewhere else at some stage.'
