Moonlone and Brooke Win Again The Paul Stafford trained Moonlone Lane and British Amateur rider Lorna Brooke who combined to land the inaugural Lady Riders Chase at Fairyhouse last month have won again. Today's victory came over hurdles when the pair won the RacingUK sponsored Handicap Hurdle at Musselburgh. The change in venue, obstacles and more importantly trip (2m today compared to 2m5f at Fairyhouse) made no difference to Moonlone Lane which took up the running shortly after halfway for a comfortable three lengths success. The opening race on the Musselburgh card also went to an Irish trained runner when the Gordon Elliott trained hot-pot Fagan (1/7 fav) made light work of the opposition under Champion Jockey elect Richard Johnson. Fagan is unbeaten in his last six races, three Pt-to-Pts, two Bumpers and now a Novices' Hurdle.
