More to come from Galikova Freddie Head believes Galikova will stay further than her illustrious half-sister Goldikova after her promising run in the Prix Marcel Boussac. While the wonder mare was chalking up a record-breaking 11th Group/Grade One success in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Sunday, Galikova hinted at more to come when a staying-on fifth behind more experienced rivals on the same card. Head was pleased with the performance of the daughter of Galileo in what was only her second racecourse appearance and he feels she will get at least a mile and a quarter. "She was finishing well. I thought she had more speed at the end. She is going to stay a mile and a quarter, I think," he said. "Yesterday she ran a bit babyish. She didn't have enough experience for a race like that. She finished very well and was really galloping. "That will be it for the season for her. We are not going to England for the 1000 Guineas, that's for sure. I think we will go further than a mile with her."
