Mori to miss Irish Oaks Mori won't take part in Saturday's Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained daughter of Frankel landed a Listed race at Goodwood before going under by just a neck to Coronet in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot. Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah, said: "Mori is not going for the Irish Oaks. She is fine and she ran such a good race at Ascot. "We were pleased with her and we are hoping she will improve yet again. She stayed the trip. She had done the work to get past the other horse (Hertford Dancer) then she just got done on the line. "She has not really worked much since Ascot. There are no immediate exotic plans for her. She is in the Yorkshire Oaks. but that is six weeks away so we will have to see." The Abdullah silks will be carried in the Curragh Classic by Enable, who was so impressive in last month's Investec Oaks at Epsom.
