Morning Assembly to return next season Trainer Pat Fahy expects star chaser Morning Assembly to return to action next season. The eight-year-old claimed the notable scalp of Don Cossack as a novice over fences last term and was placed three times at Grade One level, including when third in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham. He has not been seen since running at last year's Punchestown Festival after suffering injury, but has made a full recovery. "He was ready to go back in October but got a little fracture in the wing of a pedal bone, and it's only when he turned that you could see any problem," said Fahy. "We'll get X-rays once Cheltenham is over but he's 100 per cent and you wouldn't know there was anything wrong. "I was hoping to have him back for the spring but we'll wait until next season now."
