Moscow Poised For Navan Return

Champion chaser Moscow Flyer figures among the entries for the Fortria Chase at Navan on Sunday.

The Jessica Harrington-trained 11-year-old is one of 10 horses in the Grade Two contest.

Moscow Flyer has won 19 of his 20 completed starts over fences in a glorious career, including the Grade Two Fortria Chase twice.

He beat Arctic Copper by 25 lengths 12 months ago before going on to record a famous victory over Azertyuiop and Well Chief in the William Hill Tingle Creek Trophy at Sandown Park.

Mrs Harrington is hoping to stick to the same route this year with her stable star.

The only horse to have beaten him over fences - by a short head in the Kerrygold Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival in April - is the Eamon Sheehy-trained Rathgar Beau, and he is also among the entries for Sunday´s race.

Other notable potential contenders include Watson Lake, from the Noel Meade stable, Michael Hourigan´s Hi Cloy and the Dessie Hughes-trained Central House.
