Emily Costello kept it simple aboard Mossy Way in the concluding Limerick (Ladies Pro/Am) INH Flat Race, with the Pat Doyle-trained five-year-old dominating from the front.

Never coming off the bridle, the 5/4 chance increased his advantage with the minimum of fuss from early in the straight and he eventually eased to a 27-length win.

Running in his 11th bumper, Lord Lackendarra (25/1) got up in the finally strides to take second, with Tip Of The Wings (1/1f) a head away in third.

Pushed along to keep tabs on the winner with over half a mile to go, the market leader faded tamely in the straight.

"We have always really liked him and while he had a great first run, we then ran him back too soon here last Christmas," Jack Doyle, son of the winning trainer, commented.

"We put him away after his last run and we were expecting him to do that today. He has a big engine and is for sale.

"We had him ready for a point-to-point but decided to go for a bumper as we thought he'd have no problem doing that."
