Mullins hopeful for Harbour Tom Mullins is hoping for a good run from top weight Chelsea Harbour in Thursday's Ellen Construction Thyestes Chase at Gowran Park. The nine-year-old showed his well-being when winning a handicap chase at Navan last month but he did take a tumble in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown on his latest start. "We're looking forward to it. He's got top weight, but it's the nicest top weight (11st 7lb) you could have," said the County Kilkenny trainer. "It's a real fair weight though, he's got to give nearly two stone to a few of them, but we have to go there and take our chance and it's just down the road. "He's been fine and trouble free since his last run. He seems in good form so we are hoping for a good run. "He was fifth in the race last year but he's probably improved a good bit since then." Last year's winner Preists Leap is among a maximum field of 18 declared for the euros 65,000 feature over three miles. Other runners include the Willie Mullins-trained trio of Arbor Supreme, Homer Wells and Emma Jane, Noel Meade's Mattock Ranger and Cleni Boy, Tony Martin's Dun Doire and Newbay Prop and Jimmy Mangan's Conna Castle and Himalayan Trail. The sole British-based challenger is the Oliver Sherwood-trained Eric's Charm. Officials are hoping not too much rain falls ahead of the meeting. Racecourse manager Margaret Fogarty said: "Our forecast is for a band of rain moving in this afternoon and clearing this evening. "It's a colder day tomorrow and our concern would be the rain. "It will continue to be heavy and we are expecting an additional 10 millimetres of rain this afternoon but we should be in a position to take that. "We are hoping this unsettled piece of weather is behind us - it's that mixture of weather that has been proving difficult." Michael Hourigan is looking for a good show from A New Story, who had a spin over hurdles at Leopardstown earlier this month. "He's in good form and Denis O'Regan rides him. Denis has ridden a good few winners for me and he rode A New Story in the Red Square Vodka Gold Cup at Haydock a couple of years back," said the County Limerick trainer. "He ran well over hurdles the other day and I expect a big run from him."
