Murphy eyes Limerick target for Browneyes Barry Murphy is planning a repeat trip to Limerick over the Festive period for Pairofbrowneyes following his narrow defeat at Cheltenham earlier this month. The seven-year-old was beaten just a head by Un Beau Roman in a two-mile handicap chase, with Murphy now targeting back-to-back victories in the Tim Duggan Memorial Chase at Limerick on December 27. Murphy said: "He will probably go back to Limerick at Christmas for the Tim Duggan, the race he won last year. "The main aim with him though is a Grade A (the Dan Moore) at Fairyhouse over two miles and one furlong. We'd want plenty of rain though for him to run in either of those races. "The one thing we found out in Cheltenham is that he handles any ground but he is better on heavy. I think two-one, two-three is his optimum trip, we stepped him up in Punchestown one day and he just wasn't getting home. "He ran over a mile and seven at Cheltenham the last day, and was only beaten a head so he isn't slow anyway. "I was delighted with his run at Cheltenham, but it would have been nice to collect with my first runner over there. If he was beaten five lengths you'd get over it quicker, but that's the way it goes."
