Conor O'Farrell will take the ride on David Pipe's Our Father in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury this afternoon after Timmy Murphy injured his shoulder in an altercation with Dominic Elsworth in the weighing room yesterday.

The two riders became embroiled in a tussle after riding in the handicap chase (2.40) at Newbury in which Murphy's mount Upsilon Bleu finished fourth, with Elsworth's mount Easter Meteor finishing second.

Murphy suffered a recurrence of an old injury to his left shoulder.

Mick Fitzgerald reported on Channel 4's Morning Line programme this morning that Murphy had called Elsworth yesterday evening to apologise and both riders want to put a line under the incident.

In a further jockey change to the Hennessy, Dougie Costello replaces Robbie McNamara aboard one of the leading fancies Lord Windermere after the amateur fractured his collarbone while schooling yesterday morning.
