Murtagh to appeal 2-day ban Johnny Murtagh has lodged an appeal against the 'severity' of the 2-day suspension he received at The Curragh last Sunday.Murtagh was suspended on October 24 and 26 after the stewards found him guilty of careless riding on Gotarapofahames which finished fifth in the 6f handicap.No date has been set for the appeal hearing.
