National start inquiry on Friday Grand National-winning jockey Derek Fox is among 26 riders involved in an inquiry by a disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority on Friday for breach of the rules at the start of the world's famous steeplechase at Aintree. Thirty-one jockeys were originally reported to headquarters but, after further investigation, the BHA has absolved of any blame Katie Walsh, Robbie Power, David Noonan, Davy Russell and Harry Cobden. The panel will look into whether the 26 remaining jockeys attempted to line-up and/or take up a position for the start of the Randox Health-sponsored showpiece on April 8 before being signalled to do so by the starter.
